WHOLESALE POLICIES & TERMS OF SERVICE
Thank you for your interest in partnering with Thirteen Ògúnlọ́wọ̀ Candle Co. We take immense pride in crafting hand-poured luxury wellness rituals that celebrate African heritage through clean, premium artistry.
To maintain the integrity of our brand and support our retail partners, all wholesale orders are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENTS (MOQs)
Opening Orders: A minimum purchase of $300.00 USD is required to establish a new wholesale account.
Reorders: A minimum purchase of $150.00 USD is required for all subsequent orders.
Case Pack Constraints: To ensure safe transit and efficient studio fulfillment, items must be ordered in fixed case pack quantities:
6oz Wellness Tins: Ordered in multiples of 24 units per scent.
12oz Aura Candles: Ordered in multiples of 12 units per scent.
15oz Paris Bowls: Ordered in multiples of 6 units per scent.
2. PRICING & MSRP POLICY
Products purchased via wholesale channels must be sold at or above the Minimum Advertised Price (MSRP) established by Thirteen Ògúnlọ́wọ̀ Candle Co.:
6oz Wellness Tins: MSRP $25.00 USD
12oz Aura Candles: MSRP $50.00 USD
15oz Paris Bowls: MSRP $70.00 USD
Retailers agree not to offer permanent discounts, undercut MSRP, or alter our brand packaging without explicit written consent. We reserve the right to cease supply to any retailer found violating this policy.
3. PAYMENT TERMS & ORDER PROCESSING
Payment Upfront: All wholesale orders are processed on a Pre-Paid (Proforma) basis. Orders will not enter our production queue until payment has been processed securely in full. We do not offer Net 30/60 terms for initial accounts.
Lead Times: Because our luxury candles are hand-poured and custom-wicked in small batches with intention, standard production lead times are 10 to 14 business days from payment confirmation to shipping dispatch. Larger or holiday orders may require extended processing timelines.
4. SHIPPING, CARRIERS, & HANDLING
FOB Shipping Point: All shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Real-Time Rates: Discounted commercial shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout via our Shopify system based on final cart weight.
Handling Surcharge: A nominal handling fee is seamlessly incorporated into your calculated shipping rate to offset the specialized heavy-duty boxes and fragile insulation materials needed to safely haul heavy wax and luxury vessels.
5. SELLING CHANNELS & TERRITORIES
Retailers are permitted to sell Thirteen Ògúnlọ́wọ̀ products exclusively within their approved physical brick-and-mortar storefronts or their official proprietary e-commerce websites.
Selling on third-party online marketplaces—including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or Walmart Marketplace—is strictly prohibited.
6. DAMAGES, CLAIMS, & RETURNS
Due to the delicate nature of hand-poured wax and custom glass/ceramic formulations, all wholesale sales are final. Returns or exchanges are not accepted.
Damaged Shipments: In the rare event that items are damaged or shattered during transit, claims must be submitted via email to Info@thirteenogunlowo.com within 5 business days of carrier delivery.
Your claim must include clear, photographic evidence of the damaged product and the exterior shipping carton. Validated structural damages will be issued immediate replacements or store credit.
By submitting a wholesale payment or approving a manual draft invoice via our portal, you formally acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms detailed above.
